My giant spool storage foot stool! Materials listed in the description.

Hey everyone, welcome to my corner! I made a giant thread spool storage foot stool. It was so easy! Below are the materials, tools, and basic steps. If you make one, please tag me on Instagram! The original used a popcorn tin rather than a bucket, but I didn't have one of those, and this holds more.

Products used in the making of the spool:
5 gal bucket from Lowes (I used the blue one, but there are white ones too: https://www.lowes.com/pd/United-Solutions-5-Gallon-General-Bucket/1000462835

1 inch wood screws and washers (any will do)

E6000 adhesive (any adhesive that sticks to plasticand yarn will do: https://www.michaels.com/product/e6000-permanent-craft-adhesive-10255145

Tools: awl for poking holes through the bucket and lit, screwdriver to screw the nails in, scissors to cut the yarn.

Basic steps:
1. Put the lid onto the bucket (I had to kneel on it to get it to snap into place. 
2. Unscrew the lid and remove the gasket
3. Wrap the bucket, securing with E6000 at the top and bottom, and as you go. Set aside to cure.
4. Using the awl, poke holes through the lid as shown in the video. 
5. Mark those holes into the wood round centering it on the lid
6. Start the holes with the awl (or a drill, but it's not necessary)
7. Using a screw and a washer screw the lid to the round.
8. Repeat the process with the bottom wood round.
9. Stick the knitting needle through a few strands of the yarn as shown in the video. 
10. Fill it with treasures and put your feet up!!
