Update 9/17: I've created a dedicated Instagram account, @britomartsampler, to repost student progress and work - please follow along and share your progress on the Britomart sampler! Stacy Nash Gather Thy Harvest pinkeep kits are available at katie-strachan.com/shop The kit is $58 and includes everything except the chart, which you must provide You can get a PDF download of the chart from Stacy Nash on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1395429415/pdf-file-gather-thy-harvest-pinkeep?ga_search_query=gather&ref=shop_items_search_1&logging_key=f3471c4d66c88307cb35d7f82bc5a43b76ab7e2d%3A13954 Registration for the Attic's 2026 Sampler Symposium opens on August 29. All details on registration and the event are on the Attic's latest flosstube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KOaWyfOb6k My original sampler without a name is stitched on 48 count Legacy Linen Bride Cake with Soie Surfine The new class from Katie Strachan Artisan Embroidery, the Damascene Rose, will open for registration on October 14, all details to follow. The class will cover needlelace: attached and detached; Ceylon stitch, long and short stitch, couching, satin stitch, and overtwist. We'll also be looking at the subtleties of color and texture: the Damascene Rose uses a very limited number of shades but a wide variety of threads to achieve the effects seen. The kit will also include a template with stitch suggestions (although not full working instructions) to extend the class piece into a full casket panel. It is inspired by the interior lid of my green casket, which can be seen in episode 54: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qXh1KCViGc My new stitching case is the large jewelry case from Cuyana, color plum: https://cuyana.com/products/large-jewelry-case?variant=52150271246702 Unfortunately the smaller size of my previous case has been discontinued and is no longer available. Legacy Linens shown: 38 count Himalayan Fog, 37 count Smoke Signal, 38 count Filbert, 37 count Wild Honey
