Come on over and I'll show you how to take a plain hobby store box and turn it into a Primitive box for the next stage of creating my stitching boxes that I love to create. 
For years I've had viewers ask to see a tutorial-'not tutorial' on how I turn a plain box or vintage box into a beautiful primitive stitching box.
I'll show you closeups of my boxes, paint choices, sanding and waxing process so you can see how easy it is and get inspired to create!
Now, prepare yourself for the DecoArt Americana drama that I encountered when I stopped by my only hobby store and found it had been discontinued at Hobby Lobby. BUT, BECAUSE I LOVE YOU SO MUCH....I have a painted board of Folk Art paint alternatives.  See, it's not so bad after all!! I did buy lots more paints to share those colors on my #I3 video.
I did a quick online search and found that you can still get DecoArt paint directly from the DecoArt website as well as from Michaels (at least online) for $2.90.  The Folk Art paint at Hobby Lobby was $1.17.
Ready????  I felt awkward trying to get video of all the stages in the midst of running out of my Briwax, so bear with me darlings and see what info you can gather and ask questions!  I'm already planning on a re-do of this video after I hear back from my darling stitching family.
