October to October SAL.  A few of my local and friends and I will be starting a SAL at StitchWest in October of 2023.  We will be stitching "Au fil des Nichoirs" by Jardin Prive.  #BirdhouseSAL, #OctToOctSAL. The SAL leader will be Colette Kingsley: @colettestitcher, @highwaystitcher.  Our current SAL that will be ending in October is "Sunnyside Sampler" by The Drawn Thread.

--This Crazy Life by Cricklewood Crossing. 1 over 2 on 40ct PTP "Pewter" linen.  Called for DMC except used "Honeyed  Turquoise" by SilkNColors for the center flower.
--Rocky Mountain Quaker by From the Heart Needleart by Wendy.  2 over 2 on 36ct Vintage Country Mocha Linen.  Called for overdyed threads.
--"Hoity Toity" by Long Dog Samplers.  On 40 ct Mallow linen, 1 over 2.  Using Missus Sedas silk conversion pack she sells for this piece.  Her silks are gorgeous and I am using most of them, although I have changed a few colors so far, and changed some to a different symbol.  Glorianna Crimson (instead of Missus Sedas 26 (DMC 3830))

--The New Normal by Long Dog Samplers. 1 over 2 on 40 ct white linen. Sulky 12 wt threads used:  1188, 1270, 0169, 1115, 1173, 1229, 1232, 1190, 1332, 1047.
--Sweet Like Chocolate by Emma Congdon.  2 over 2 on 32ct "Petals" evenweave.  From the World of Cross Stitch Magazine, April 2019.
--Scottish Door Kit by Riolis.  Kit wool acrylic thread on kit aida fabric, 1 over 1.
--Band of Roses 1845 by Cross Stitch Antiques.  1 over 2 on 40ct "Maritime White" linen by Lakeside Linens. Called for DMC, but subbed Soie d'Alger 1416 for the dark blue alphabet, and Dinky Dyes Pacific Ocean for the lighter blue alphabet.
--Santa's Secret by Dimensions.  Petite Gold Kit.  2 over 2 on 32ct antique white evenweave.  Kit floss.
--Colors of Water (Die farben des wassers) by der werkstatt fur historische stickmuster.  1 over 2 with the called for Au ver a Soie "Soie d'alger" silks on 46ct antique white linen.
--Hello Pumpkin by Caterpillar Cross Stitch.  2 over 2 on 32 ct Fabric Flair.  Called for DMC.
--Lanarte 4 Seasons.  2 over 2 on Kit fabric (28 ct Lugana) with the kit floss.
