Flosstube 2 - Farms of Hawk Run Hollow, WIP Rescue Reveal and thanks flosstubers!

Summary AI

Tanya, the Aida & DMC Stitcher, shares her second Flosstube video from country New South Wales, Australia. She begins with an update on her current project, Farms of Hawk Run Hollow, showing her progress and discussing the challenges she's facing with colour conversion from fancy floss to DMC. She asks viewers for tips and recommendations on how to do colour conversions herself, as she finds the colours aren't translating well and she doesn't own a full set of DMC threads.

Tanya then reveals two WIP Rescue packages she received in the mail. The first is from Amy in Geelong, a Carolyn Manning Design pattern called Chocolate Covered Strawberries, which Tanya renames 'Amy's Strawberries'. The second is a Letitstitch kit called Dolphin's Paradise from Sarah (@sewmesarah) in the UK. Tanya shares her excitement about both parcels and explains her plans for stitching them, including a question about whether there would be enough thread if she stitches the kit on 14 count instead of 16 count.

She also thanks two fellow Flosstubers, Pam from Ditsy Daisy Crafts and Sharon from Stitchy Doodle, for their shout-outs, and shows a small haul influenced by Sharon's video. Tanya answers a question about her Long Dog sampler, explaining how she coloured in a printed copy to plan her colour choices, and mentions that her Pointed Fifth piece is laced and ready to go to the framers, with plans to enter it in her local show in February.

Description from YouTube
In this video I go through:
- WIP progress on Farms of Hawk Run Hollow. I am finding the colour conversion from fancy floss to DMC is not the best - so asking for any hot tips on how and who to watch for ideas on how to do this myself

- WIP Rescue!
Can you believe it - I received two WIP Rescue projects.
Project 1: From Amy in Geelong, forever known now as Amy's Stawberries by Carolyn Manning Design.
Project 2: Letitstitch kit from @sewmesarah
Thank you both - I can not explain just how excited I was to get these in the mail.

Want to send me a Wip Rescue? I'd love it!

- Kit Stitching
I've never stitched on a kit before, so question for everyone - if I stitch it on 14 count instead of 16 count will there be enough thread????

Mentions:
Thank you to everyone who watched my fist video, it was so lovely to read all the comments. Extra special thanks to these two ladies for their video shout outs.
