Today I mentioned:

Cross stitch:

Jane Thompson 1838 - The Scarlett House - exclusive through Homespun Needlework Facebook group from The Shepherd’s Needle. 36-count Sleeping Bear (Needle and Flax), called-for NPI silk.

Nancy Cook - special project for Mrs. Parkman’s Academy of Needlework (the Great British Sampler Weekend 2025) - 36-count Paperbark and 36-count Flannel Flower by Fox and Rabbit, called-for DMC.

Bertram Savile Ogle “Denke mein” - Hands Across the Sea Samplers - 46-count Latte and called-for 100.3s (from All Things Bright and Beautiful Red Box)

Royal Thistle Sampler and Accessories - Olde Willow Stitchery - was offered as an exclusive through Homespun Needlework Facebook group from Hobby House Needleworks. 46-count Hemmingway (Needle & Flax), called-for 100.3 silks.

Martha Miller 1858 by Running with Needles & Scissors (exclusive to QCSG until later this year). There is a SAL within the guild. I’m stitching this with DMC on 16-count Aida Hogbristle by Fox and Rabbit.

Variety Show

Jane Boyer 1831 - another sampler in the collection of the LeRoy Historical Society, LeRoy, NY. (See my videos from the first part of 2024 for Jane Boyer 1834, starting with #105.) I’ve been working on charting this - stay tuned!

Jessie Ormiston 1887 - HATS (from All Things Bright and Beautiful box) - I got a piece of Charcoal 36-count by Zwiegart (the called-for fabric is Black Swan by Fox and Rabbit, which seems to be in short supply).

Hem stitch with drawn thread - check out Gingerbread Girl Designs (Youtube) from April 2022, also Susan Standley Stitch in Time from March 2022.
