Description from YouTube
Welcome to my channel. I am so pleased you are here. I love the history of textiles and have enjoyed learning about every aspect of sewing during the 19th century. It is my joy to share this with you as we work on projects from an historic and contemporary perspective.

The Berlin work class, "Little Violet", will be offered at Acorns and Threads on October 4th in person and zoom. The sign up can be found on the Acorns and Threads website www.acornsandthreads.com. We will explore the history of Berlin work, try some original materials and stitch this interpretive piece. Please let me know if you have any questions. I really look forward to seeing you there!

Corliss Medallion Quilt information can be found on my website www.susanstandleystitchintime.com.

The Britomart Sampler can be purchased from Katie Strachan www.katie-strachan.com.

Exploring color can add to the meaning and success of your textile projects. The book I mentioned on this episode is very interesting and useful for any artist.
"Werner's Nomenclature of Colours" by P Syme is a lovely addition to any creative library.
