Today I’m showing you the finishing process for a cross stitch piece I stitched recently. I usually “FFO” (finally finish off) my cross stitch pieces by lacing them around mat board and this is my typical process that I’ve used for many years. I added some magnets to this piece so I could swap it out from the decorative wooden board. The materials I use are: Cross stitched piece Background fabric Rick rack trim Quilt batting Mat board Needle and upholstery thread Fabric glue Magnets Scissors, ruler, etc. Information about the design: Spring Folk by Hands on Design, stitched on 32 ct. fabric in “Driftwood” by Fabrics by Stephanie using the called for threads by DMC. Decorative Folk Paddle display board available from @chantelledeimling-141desig3 Music: “Sun Room” by Charlie White for Apple’s iMovie app. Any questions?
