Variety Show

Tar Heel Brownies

8” square pan, lined with foil, greased

Melt over low heat:

1 stick butter
2 ounces baking chocolate 

Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, mixed well after each
1/2 cup flour
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup broken nutmeats if desired (walnut, pecan)

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes - allow to cool before serving
