Flosstube #57 Celebrating Success: My Pilgrim Cross-Stitch is Finally Done and Its free!

Welcome to my floss tube channel!  Thank you for joining me today on my cross stitch journey along with all my other hand sewing projects.  
In this video I am talking about my 2 new cross stitch starts and finishes out of the book "The Magic of Christmas" by Veronique Enginger.  She is a French designer and has a flare of vintage and a charming contemporary simplicity.  
I also finished Pilgrim Harvest which is a cross stitch freebie offered by Twin Peak Primitives which I have listed the link below.  I used all the call for DMC thread and a beautiful Aida cloth I purchase from Hobby Lobby call 14 count Aida Star Gold.  

I continue to work on my hand embroidery Candy Cane Lap Quilt from Herrschners.  

Crochet some flowers using Lori Holt chunky thread and some yarn from Hobby Lobby.

Completed another project bag using a vintage hand embroidery puppy sew on Wednesday pattern. 

A new sew along to talk to you about using Lori Holt Vintage Christmas quilt book.  Vintage Christmas Quilt sew along starts on October 1st.  One block a week starting with the first block which is called "Mistletoe Block" on page 59.  We will be working on this block from Oct. 1st to the 7th.  Next block will be Toy Drum Block.  We will work across the top row and then proceed to the second row going across and so forth.  One block a week will get us finished close to next year around August.  Then we can start sewing the blocks together.  Of course you can go at your own pace. Also the quilt in the book is using 6 inch blocks but if you want it larger use the 12 inch blocks.
