#Flosstube 2, What I’ve Been Stitching 🧵 WIPs, FFOs + Mini Haul

Summary AI

Pippa, host of Calm Stitch Read, shares her stitching updates in her second Flosstube video. She begins by discussing her recent activities, including a trip to Warwick Castle and a Viking ship visit, before moving on to her fully finished objects (FFOs). She proudly shows off four project bags she made herself, inspired by fellow Flosstubers Rose Cottage Creates and Sarah Jane, using fabric she had stashed away and new zips and fusible fleece she purchased. She then presents her current WIPs, including a metallic thread project from Sew Lux Co, a Tiny Modernist pattern with geese, the Not So Scary Apothecary stitch-along, Lola Crow's Haunted Library, Little Dove Designs' Strawberry Season, and Nicki Franklin's Alice in Wonderland embroidery. She also shares a mini haul of new patterns and supplies, including Modern Folk Embroidery's All the Time, a sunflower design from Little Dove Designs, and a butterfly pattern from Sprouting Lupine, which she plans to stitch on cream fabric. Throughout the video, she mentions various Flosstubers she has been watching for inspiration and discusses her plans for the upcoming school year.

Description from YouTube
Welcome to Flosstube #2! 🧵

Come and have a stitchy catch-up with me as I share what I've been working on lately, including my current cross stitch WIPs, an FFO (fully finished object!) and a little mini haul.

I'm chatting about the projects I've been enjoying, what I've actually managed to stitch since my first Flosstube, some new stitchy purchases and, as usual, whatever else comes up along the way.

I also mention some lovely fellow Flosstubers, designers and small businesses that I've been enjoying and finding inspiration from recently. I've linked everyone I mention below so you can go and have a look at their channels and shops too.
