Flosstube EXTRA - Full length process tutorial dyeing linen with #jaquard Dye-Na-Flo fabric paint

Welcome! You’ve landed here on a Flosstube EXTRA video, where I am giving a full length tutorial of my hand dying process with Jacquard Dye-Na-Flow fabric paint. I am doing two pieces of linen today, one for Modern Folk Embroidery’s The Wings of the Dove, and Long Dog Sampler’s Do Different. Both are bright and fresh colors, lots of movement. I left this at normal speed because I think it really helps with a subtle process like this to see the time involved. And besides, I chatter away through the whole thing with lots of tips and insights. In the background you will hear my black capped Conure, Nessie, giving her alert call - my husband says she sounds like a bottle rocket 😂 She was incorrigible today!

I make all kinds of things here in my studio - cross stitch, bed quilts, art quilts, sewing my own clothes (from mostly my own patterns), zero waste sewing, painting, drawing, photography, and more, all of which may appear from time to time.
