Newish Segment – Peter’s Painting.  Peter shared a beautiful beach scene that was reminiscent of his time spent in Okinawa, Japan while he was stationed at Kadena Air Base.

Previous FFO’s:

Peter shared a lidded bowl that he made years ago from segmented pieces – eight sided – cherry.  It is well used and loved 😊

Kathy shared a pillow made use Misty Purcell’s of Luminous Fiber Arts pattern “Gathering Berries”.  Pillow was finished with Petite Prints from French General fabric.

Current FFO’s:

Peter shares spools that he has made, one is a Becca Spool from Spalted Oak, and a large 5-hole spool made for Tiny Town series from Spalted River Burch.

Kathy FFO’d “Charlotte Hatch 1838” by Becca of SamBrie Stitches on a maple Becca’s Spool using 20ct Aida from LFA Linen “Covered Bridge”. Also, another finish for #ffochallenge2023 was Big Hearted Tiny Town by Heart In Hand using called for floss and stitched on 36 Ct Straw by WDW.  Tiny Town was finished on one of Peter’s spools that work beautifully together.

WIP’s:

Peter showed the spools he is working on for that work together for the Tiny Town series by Heart in Hand.  Her has been a busy beaver.

Kathy has been working on three WIP’s:

• Focus piece for January was “Mary Clayton” by Hands Across the Sea Samplers stitched on 40 Ct Platinum with Vikki Claytons silk pack of Hand Dyed Fibers.
• WIPGO#7 – “What Remains is Love” by BlackBird Designs stitched on 36 Ct Straw by WDW with Vikki Claytons silk pack.
• Focus piece for February is Peter’s birthday stitch, “And A Forest Grew” by Karen Kluba of Rosewood Manor stitched on 40 Ct Antique White with called for DMC.

Happy Mail and Stitchy Kindness

Merritt Crawford blessed us with a beautiful handmade Valentine’s Day card and the cutest homemade stamps in fabric.

Rose, our new friend from Sanford, blessed us with a wonderful visit and while there she showered us with so many wonderful charts, magazines, fabric and quilting fabric that we will be sharing with ya’ll in future giveaways.
