Peter is back today with me and it is so good for him to be here. 

Quilt featured in this FlossTube is a wall hanging from Moda Bake Shop called Home Tweet Home.  I enlarged the paper piece pattern by around 300% because I wanted to make it larger than a mini quilt.  Lots of fun piecing and quilting this one in a variety of quilting cottons

Current FFO’s:

 I had one FFO this month from Jardin Prive called Quaker de Noel.  Stitched on 28 count Stormy Night Laguna with CCW Belle Soie silk in Cranberry.  Finished in a thrifted frame from Goodwill.

Peter has quite a few of our larger skeps in a variety of wood choices with larger and smaller beading.  He has been busy making samples to carry on our road-trip to show shops that we are visiting.

WIP’s:

I have been working on five WIP’s one of which is a secret for the smalls exchange:

• “WIPGO#5 Prairie Schooler Santa – 2017 North Pole stitched on 18 count Davos with called for floss 1 over 1
• Tender Father Sampler by Tree of Life Sampling – Jan Alexander stitched on 36 count R&R American Chestnut with GA Schoolhouse Red 1 of 2.  This beautiful sampler has become my One Red Thread A Day stitch!!
• ** New Start – Eliza’s French Bird stitched on 36 count Latte by Seraphim with called for floss except subbing 761 for 760   #jbwelizasfrenchbirdsal
• ** New Start – Spring Quaker by Lila’s Studio stitched on 40 count Sand Dune by Seraphim with called for floss except subbing quaker floss for Old Purple Paint by Gentle Arts.  Inspired by Christine Hollis of Hollis Hands Creates
