My tips: I use Pellon 884 cut away stabilizer, and use Mistyfuse to bond the silk to it to keep the silk in place and secure the edges once turned under.  It's how I finish the lining pieces in my pinkeep finishing tutorial: https://youtu.be/oS_mdoLZcx8
