Quilt featured in this FlossTube is a one of two similar quilts I made for a friend and gave her the choice of which one she wanted.  It has no pattern and is a very simple quilt to construct from 2 ½” x 3 ½” bricks staggered made out of Kaffe Fassett fabrics

New Segment – Peter’s Painting.  Peter shared a beautiful oil painting of a peaceful garden.

Current FFO’s:

Peter shares two spools that he has made, one from Purple heart and a large 5-hole spool made from Ambrosia Maple.

Kathy FFO’d “Small Things” by The Drawn Thread on a beautiful tin that holds a gift from Peter of an embroidery scissor set.

WIP’s:

Kathy has been working on three WIP’s:

• “GLeger 1898 by Reflet de Soie stitched on 36 Ct Antique White Edinburgh with Lisa Smith from Kindred Stitchers’ floss conversion
• “Joyful World” by Snowflower Diaries – a free 12-part stitch along on their blog from 2016 – Worked on January block with DMC floss on 36 Sparkling Grape from Grace Notes Fabrics
• New start – “Big Hearted Tiny Town” by Heart in Hand stitched on 36 count Straw by WDW with called for overdyed floss.

Peter has been working on cone scissor holders and a beautiful vase in wild cherry.

Shop News:

We are doing a collaboration with Becca of SamBrie Stitches for her new reproduction sampler “Charlotte Hatch 1838” due to be released to shops February 1st.  She finished her sampler on one of our spools made to meet her specifications.  We have these in our Etsy shop and will also have available at The Stitching Shop in Denver, CO and at Hobby House in Pittsford, NY.
